LV Virtual Assistant

Mission's context

Louis Vuitton, a leader in the luxury leather goods sector and famous for its strong presence in the fashion world, is a major player in digital innovation in luxury.

joined the innovation and data team in November 2021 as a consultant to strengthen the virtual assistant development team. In collaboration with the PO, the development team and the teams in the regions (America, Europe and Asia), I brought my expertise, know-how and skills in the development and long-term evolution of the ChatBot.

► The goal is to provide expertise in the design, implementation and improvement of current and future virtual assistants present in several geographical areas.

Roles, actions taken and objectives achieved

• Development on the lowcode SAP Conversational AI platform:
  • Training of NLU on intentions and entities.
  • Implementation, optimization and refactoring of conversation skills and flows.
  • Multilingual development English / German / Chinese and Japanese.
• Development of a web-based quality assurance platform using NodeJS:
  • Backend architecture and design using the express.js framework
  • Frontend development using VueJS
  • Writing test scenarios in the form of conversation flows.
  • Implementation and daily automation of tests using mocha.js
• Active development of new backend features related to the CAI platform and consuming internal APIs.
• Development of an analysis and optimization tool for the architecture of chatbots on the CAI platform.
• Development of a visualization tool for the architecture of chatbots in the form of diagrams.
• Creation of scripts and automation tools for recurrent tasks on the CAI platform.
• Writing technical documentation for developers as well as user documentation for POs.
• Study and benchmark of NLU design and comprehension solutions.
• Weekly participation in team meetings and participation in inspiration sessions.
